Ida G2025-05-10Verified 10/10 travel guide, can definitely be recommended! I was on a group trip where Sujith was our guide, he was a safe guide and he liked to change the plans if there was something to change or if we wanted it different. Monika M2024-12-03Verified Elephant, hiking and nature Amazing Adventures and sujith was an excellent guide 👌 Do happy and smiling just doing his best! We even had a chase after a lampart ;). We were driving mostly on our own, without different cars and our guide was turning off the engine so we can hear the sounds of the nature. Really amazing experience :) Sören A2024-08-08Verified Amazing Tour! Very nice tour and great organization! We saw all the animals we wanted to see. The only negative point is that the admission to the national park costs again properly. Although it is in the description, we did not expect the sum. Another 12400 rupees. However, it was worth the money in the end. We were the first to see a leopard and drove different ways so you had the feeling we were alone in the park. On the way back you stop at a cafe of the organizer and get offered something to drink. We were very flat and did not take up the offer but it is very friendly. bejayte2024-01-31Verified Stop looking, you've just found the best If you're looking for a tour stop looking, you've just found a fantastic one!I contacted Sujith with a budget, timescale, preferences and everything in and he delivered and some. The tour was guided by Prabath, a colleague of Sujiths, Prabath was sooo good, professional, knowledgeable, respectful, obliging and immaculate. The tour comprised, in short, evening safari, probably the best experience of all, just superb!Pidurangala Rock, which offers stunning views of sigiriya.Authentic village tour.On to kandy. Gem factory etcVery long trip through mountains and tea plantations with tour around factory.Ella, nine arch bridge, unfortunately Sujith couldn't get tickets for the train. Hike up little Adams peak, stunning views. On to Tangalle, finishing off with baby turtle tour and whale watching. All accommodation and breakfast included. All in all six nights seven days.We met Sujith in Ella, he was conducting another tour, a more genuine and pleasant man you won't meet. I feel an absolute obligation to impress upon you the quality of thus tour company, it's basically a man trying so hard to get into this business but with a lot of competition and it's through my word of mouth that I hope to push as much business his way as I can knowing that you won't be disappointed. THANK YOU SUJITH AND PRABATH!!! Teagan W2024-01-10Verified We saw a leopard!! The safari was such an amazing experience. We went during the quiet season and it felt like we had the park to ourselves. Our driver was wonderful, the roads were quite rough due to the recent rain and he drove very carefully, we felt quite safe. He pointed out many wonderful birds, using a bird book so we could learn more about them. We were very lucky to see a leopard and came within 5m of it! That was an unreal experience. Would 100% recommend Sage Tours for your safari experience. Pat F2023-09-27Verified Great safari with local people from Panama For my partner and I this was the highlight of visiting Arargum Bay. The peace and quiet of being out at Kumana was the perfect break from the hustle and bustle of the tourist town. After our pick up our tour began with a stop in Panama where we met the runner of the tour Iroshana who is a Panama local. We stopped for a quick free juice and to pick up a bottle of water at a cute little home style cafe in Panama. Iroshana explained that Panama is driven through almost 200 times a day but no one stops there or stays there and as a local it is one of Iroshana’s passions to bring more business to his community. He explained as well as stopping at the little shop for the drinks it’s also why he employs safari guides from Panama as having lived next to the Kumana park entrance their whole life, they have a wealth of knowledge of the areaSama (hope I spelt that right) was the name of our guide and he was lovely and dedicated to showing us as many animals as he could spot. Although was up the front of the car he always seemed to observe when I was taking photos and gave me as much time as I needed. We saw hornbills, a serpent eagle, several species of bee eaters, mongoose, the happiest looking buffalo we’ve ever seen, elephants, crocodiles, rabbits, deer and just the feet of a leopard and its fresh killed deer it had dragged up a tree. Sama really tried his very best to try and get us a better view of the leopard. We would highly recommend this to anyone considering a Kumana visit and it felt especially good to support Panama locals who have lived alongside that park their whole life. Also Iroshana was such a nice guy and gave us a lift the next day as we were going in the same direction which was a really nice experience to make a genuine connection. The driver had so much experience with these harsh environment and knows the place like the back of his hand. Saw variety of animals including Leopards, Elephants, Deers and Bird Species.
